Joyeux Noel!

Merry Christmas Everyone!  It’s 7.04pm and Dan is asleep, new Batman graphic novel in hand, stretched out on sofa…  We’ve had a fantastic couple of days enjoying a wonderfully relaxed Christmas – our first alone together in six years.  Below are some photos from yesterdays mammoth walk and our low-key festive celebrations.  I’ll write more tomorrow about the fabulous presents I received etc etc  Bon Fete!Theres always time for some festive posing! Even when perched on a rocky edge. Our Provencal christmas cake – chocolate and rum tart – with some more traditional walking snacks.  Dans size 12 boot and a MASSIVE boar print.A breath-taking over hang and a snow dusted Mont Ventoux in the distance.  As it was just Dan and I for Christmas we decided to do, eat, drink and give exactly what we wanted.  Below is our ‘tree’, bought in Aix’s Christmas Eve flower market. My make-shift table decorations… red paper napkins, gold paper streamers, metallic stars and little lead cyclists.
