Despite living in one of the world’s most sort after locations sometimes a change of scene is required. Provence may offer 300 days of sunshine (yes, really) and countless other fabulous things I enjoy writing about here but occasionally I feel that I’m living in a bubble – albeit a very pretty one. I think it’s useful to step away … to appreciate what I have at home but also to think about all the bits and pieces I need and want to do. Rather ridiculously I sometimes find it hard to get motivated in France – when the skies are so clear and the weather is so nice I can easily spend a week bimbling around with no particular purpose. So I’ve come to the UK to see my Mum. Today we spent most of the day wandering around Marlborough and below are a couple of things that made me smile.
