Gloves off

My week of clearing the garden for our up-coming Bourrade wedding (not Dan and I!) is nearly at an end.  It’s been lovely to watch garden designer Jessica set about adding the bridal colours into the autumn scene.  The pink roses are climbing along the house’s front terrace where the Champagne reception will be held.  These purple daises are adding colour to various pots, I love the way they bob about in the breeze. The white roses of the brides bouquet are mirrored by many happy hydrangeas.  Below:  The internal courtyard has been brightened up with pink and white heathers, pale purple and white pansies and more hydrangeas.
