Spring in City

St. James's Square…and everybody is outside for lunch. BlossomI am so lucky to be working next to St. James’s Square, with its blossom trees and beautiful planting.  It’s lovely to see some blue sky during the day and everyone enjoying the weather.  Plus I love to see all the men in their Saville Row suits queuing at the ice cream van with Minnie Mouse reminding everyone to MIND THAT CHILD! painted on the back.TulipsAfter lunch I went to Chris Beetles Fine Photographs gallery on Swallow Street, to see a selection of Norman Parkinson prints.  I could have chosen about five to walk out with, but if could only have one it would be Celia Hammond, 1964.CELIA-HAMMOND

I’ve probably missed a trick or two – but where has your french house gone – have you moved back to the UK. Lovely pictures of flowers by the way, I think spring is finally here!
