On Sunday we went to visit Expo Cycles Bédoin Ventoux – the shonky (in the best sense of the word) private bicycle and cycling memorabilia collection of Lino Lazzerini, a man whose boyhood dream of being a professional cyclist transformed into a 50 year passion for all things velo, making him a well known and much liked figure in the area.

A Weekend Well Spent

The weekend in reserve: Sunday night movie awesomeness High-Rise, directed by Ben Wheatley and based on the 1975 J.G Ballard novel of the same name. Such an enjoyable assault on the senses I wanted to go right back into the cinema and see it again. I think it’s the highest praise possible that two days later I’m still replaying bits in my head – mainly Portishead’s cover of Abba’s SOS, the concrete brutalism of the high rise itself and the scene of Luke Evans and Tom Hiddleston dancing.

Running Rabbit

It’s been a while since I’ve ventured out to L’Isle sur la Sorgue on a Sunday but I figured now the March sun is shining it is a good a time as any. The first thing I fell in love with were those green shutters and then I saw the patterned sideboard and promised myself to come to L’Isle more often.

I’ve definitely found one of my favourite areas in New York… All the straight lines and bizarre angles, textures and neon! Apologise for the excessive amount of Lincoln Center photos but the light was so crisp today the whole city looked amazing.
